The blue and white Italian hand-painted platter of our Tagliato collection is truly a design that proves timeless. Its design is inspired by typical ceramic decoration from the late 15th century, yet we think it seems very current. Tagliato, meaning cut or sliced has a stylized flower surrounded by short hatches, or slices, creating a bold and interesting design. This hand-painted serving platter will make any dining table vibrant. Handmade in Italy, each piece is created just as it would have been when this design originated– hand thrown on a potter’s wheel and glazed in the same colors available at that time. A large and small serving bowl, as well as the platter, are included in the Tagliato serveware set.
