(SOLD) This glazed terracotta pot, from the region of Puglia in southern Italy, would have been used in a Pugliese kitchen to preserve vegetables and condiments. Ceramics from this region are often a creamy beige color (sometimes with a hint of yellow) with decorative green markings.
Please note that this pot is from the beginning of the 20th century. There are imperfections and chippy markings. This pot does have a hairline split on the top which is shown in one of the photos, but the pot is very stable. It does not present a problem is not really noticeable.
