(SOLD) This Italian vintage silversmiths workbench is from the Tuscan area of Lucca, Italy. This area was known for silversmithing and there are still families today who continue doing this kind of work.
The workbench is very rustic. Two people could work at this workbench. There are slots with the armrests and slots for the bench pins. The bottom two drawers are lined and were used to catch the silver shavings. Also, included with this workbench are the four tools shown in the photos. What a great console this would be!
In addition to this workbench, we acquired another silversmiths table from the same place. It’s a workbench for one person and comes with a stool. It is very similar but smaller.
