(SOLD) When I think about the beautiful Italian antique terracotta in Tuscany, I always envision the large “orci” or olive oil pots which are my favorite. This antique terracotta oil pot has a kiln stamp marked FDI Ferdinando Nistri Impruneta.  The stamp indicates the family Nistri and Impruneta is the Tuscan town which is well known for its high quality of clay and production of terracotta wares since Renaissance times.  Once used for storing olive oil, this quintessential Tuscan antique terracotta pot makes a beautiful decorative object inside or outside.
