(SOLD) Hand Painted Italian Terracotta Bowl

(SOLD) Early to mid  20th Century Hand Painted Italian Terracotta Bowl. This hand painted Italian terracotta bowl is from the region of Puglia, Italy.  The simple blue floral design around the rim is characteristic of this area.  The shape is nice too.  It is a bowl, but a very shallow one.  The backside is flat so it would look nice hung on a wall.  The old pottery from Puglia, like this bowl, is thick and has a rustic feel. The hand painted designs are typically very simple.
