(SOLD) Trunk number 1 of a pair of very cool antique Tuscan trunks with original blue patina and hardware. This trunk was part of the inventory of a Tuscan estate of a noble family and had been used for storage by the household staff.
The trunk is marked with the number 1 most likely for identification and organization. The interior is lined with galvanized metal. This late 19th/ early 20th century trunk has many imperfections as would be expected from a well used utilitarian piece such as this. The worn patina and the blue color are really terrific. Today, this trunk makes a very decorative piece of furniture.
