This large late 18th/early 19th century Italian pine chest came from a convent in the Siena area. Divided into sections, each one was for an individual nun’s bed linen. Today this would be fabulous for use in a hallway or large mudroom for additional storage.
There are 4 large bins. When they open, there is some writing on the underside as you can see in the gallery photos. This rustic storage cabinet has both an interesting history and a great look!
