Antique Tabernacle with Marbleized finish from Italy. This beautiful tabernacle was made in the late 17th or early 18th century in Italy. Beautifully done, the painted wood depicts marble-look yellow and green marbles of Italy. This tabernacle came from a church near Siena. Some restoration has occurred as noted in the photos, but has been left unpainted to delineate the original from the restoration.
