(SOLD) This very tall and large Italian antique cabinet wardrobe, or armoire, was originally used in a convent in Siena, Italy. It is impressive! This antique wardrobe is 10 feet tall with two doors and a key. Inside the rustic cabinet there are four sturdy shelves. The entire piece comes apart like many European antique cabinets. There is a back to this piece as well. The gallery photo of the inside shows the shelves and the back pieces resting on the ground. They do attach to the back side of the cabinet, we just haven't done that.
We get great ideas from customers...this could be used with a murphy bed inside, or it could open and have a small desk space with a computer and shelves built inside. Most recently a builder and carpenter where in the store picking up architectural pieces for our customer and they thought this antique cabinet would be great to walk through as a very unique doorway into another room. What a great idea!
